RALLY FOR A CURE TOURNAMENT
The Rally for the Cure Tournament is October 25, 2016 at 0900.  We are checking in from 0830 to 0855.  The cost of play is $20. Paid to Susan B Komen Foundation.  We are playing a team scramble, with the teams set by the JRCC pros.  It will be a shot-gun start.
  • Players can sign up at the Pro Shop.  the sign-up sheet is on the  window at the Shop. All money is due on 10/25.   One interesting thing about the Rally is that there are magazine subscriptions that will be sent to the players.  Read the sign-up sheet for the choices.
  •   Luncheon is planned after the play concludes.  Call the main office of the Club to let the Club know if you would like to have lunch with us.  The cost of the lunch will be about $12.95 as usual.

And Please join the WGA for its
ANNUAL TURKEY SHOOT
  • November 1, 2016 9 a.m.  Its the last event of the year.
  • 4 person Captains Choice; Pairings will be done by the Pro Shoppe using our handicaps.
  • There will be prizes for all our accomplishments, many new.
  • Please sign up at the Pro Shoppe as soon as possible so we can reserve a place for you!

  • Sunday, November 6th.  The time is 2:30 (this early time is because we are off Daylight Savings Time and as you can tell, sunset seems to be so much earlier every day).
  • We will probably finish by 4:30 or 4:45, go in and have some drinks (it is 5:00 somewhere!), and eat supper between 5:30 and 6:00
  • The menu is being carried over from October:  Salad, Brunswick Stew, Ham Biscuits, Fried Apples and Lemon Squares & Chocolate Chip Brownies for dessert.
  • Since Hurricane Matthew squelched October’s Member/Member-Member/Guest, we are able to re-invite our guests for November.  Bring your friends whether they are Club members or not.
  • Last Member/Guest, we had 80 players.  Let us see if we can match that number! As usual, if you can’t get to the Club to sign up, you may call the Pro Shop (596-3112) or call, text (810-9515) or email Lyn at (lynjhawk@cox.net)
