Women's Golf at JRCC starts this week!

• Thursday  is the season opening Ladies Kick Off clinic in the golf museum at 4:30. You are invited to join in for a complimentary glass of wine see what’s in store for the coming season as well as get a few tips to help your game. Please call the golf shop to RSVP if you have not already done so. We strongly encourage you to invite any friends who may be interested in playing with the ladies this year.  

• New for this spring, Joe Dargin will be hosting JRCC’s first “Ladies Chip and Sip” short game series. This 5 session series will be conducted on Wednesday nights from 6-7 pm. The series will begin on Wednesday April 18^th and conclude on Wednesday May 16^th. This is a fantastic opportunity for everyone to sharpen up their short game skills in a relaxed group setting. Joe will help you shave strokes off of your score by teaching you the proper technique to hit a variety of greenside shots. After each clinic we invite you to join us for a glass of wine in the Huntington Lounge. The first glass is on us! Cost of the series is $100 for all 5 weeks or $25 per session. Pricing includes a voucher for 1 glass of JRCC Private Label for each night of participation. Space is limited, please reply via email or contact the golf shop today to sign up.

Ladies Golf Kickoff Clinic March 29

The first day of spring is just a few days away. With nicer weather just around the corner now is the perfect time to start dusting off the clubs to get ready for the 2018 Ladies Golf Season at JRCC. To help make the transition from this frigid offseason as smooth as possible we will be hosting a Kick Off Clinic. We welcome everyone to join us for a glass of wine and a complimentary tune up on Thursday March 29^th from 4:30 to 5:30 PM in the Golf Museum (show up any time).  Please let us know if you plan to attend.

The kick off clinic will be an opportunity to invite anyone that might be interested in participating in the ladies league. We will have a free putting clinic on the set up, and swing of the putting stroke to help our ladies get ready for the golf season.  Bring your putter if you have one.

The ladies play exclusively on Tuesday mornings from 8:00 – 10:00 a.m. but players can still be eligible for weekly prizes if scores are posted in the golf shop by 5:00 p.m. This allows the golf shop time to score, post prize money and e-mail results. The clinic is also on Tuesdays starting at 11:00 a.m. and provides instruction for all skill levels.

The 2018 Ladies Golf Season is right around the corner!

The fee for the season is still $55 and will include the very popular 11am Tuesday Clinic at no additional fee. The golf calendar is official as of today and we have a number of fun events planned. If you are not interested in participating in this year’s JRCC Women’s Golf Program simply email  Jeremy and he will take you off the 2018 roster. If you know of anyone that might be interested in joining please let me know and he will be happy to reach out to them.

The Ladies Kickoff Clinic will be on Thursday, March 29^th not March 20^th as provided in the newsletter.  Practice Rounds for the Ladies League will start on Tuesday, April 10^th along with the start of our Tuesday Clinics. Play for winnings will being  May 1^st with the same breakdown as last season.
