Member Guest Update

THE MEMBER GUEST IS THIS FRIDAY AND WE ARE VERY EXCITED TO SAY WE HAVE 12 TEAMS PLAYING. 

The Timetable for the Member Guest is as follows:

11:00 Registration

11:00 to 12:45 – Chipping and Putting Contest

1:00 Shotgun Start

5:00-6:00 Cosmopolitan Martinis on the Lawn

6:00-6:30 Cocktails

6:30 Dinner and Prizes

*Each Member and Guest will receive 2 drink tickets.

On the Course:  We will offer Beer, Water and Soda. 

We will not have Beverage Carts due to the fact not enough volunteers signed up. Drink Coolers will be located at #1 and #10. Be sure to get a beverage before the shotgun start.

A box lunch will be provided. It will include a Turkey Sandwich (condiments on the side), cookie and chips.

Mulligans will be sold at Registration: Cost is 2/for $10.

The very popular “Pro Help” will once again be at #2 and #10. If you want to participate the cost is $5 per hole/per player.  Exact change is helpful.

Jennifer Stevens is heading up the 50/50 Raffle to benefit the First Tee.  Chances will be sold at cocktail party and dinner by Sloan, one of our First Tee Participants.

Chances costs:

• 2 for $10
• 5 for $20
• Or, Sloan will roll out tickets 2x her height for $50

Member Guest Volunteers

She is still needing volunteers to "play poker" and drive a beverage cart Friday afternoon.  In addition she is putting together a light lunch for participants and needs volunteers to fill the lunch bag!   Click Here to email her and volunteer.

 

50/50 Raffle to Benefit the First Tee Amped up:

 

Hi, everyone. For those who do not know me well, I am on the board of the local First Tee. Thanks to Mary and Jeremy for allowing First Tee of the Virginia Peninsula to benefit from the 50/50 raffle.  This year, in addition to the 50/50, I am donating for a 2nd drawing (same tickets) 2 clubhouse tickets to the LPGA Kingsmill valid for Saturday or Sunday (Clubhouse ticket holders have access to amenities such as Eagles Restaurant, Patio and Bar, HD television, restrooms and more… real bathrooms/no porta potties!).

Just FYI, we are doing it a little differently, so I wanted everyone to be prepared. This year, we have a little girl named Sloan Hale coming to sell raffle tickets AFTER play… during the social and dinner. Sloan is a local First Tee participant and has had a couple of First Tee promo clips on the Golf Channel -- like this one:

Thanks for your support and cooperation with this. We are trying to keep the increments easy for Sloan to make change and of course raise (and for someone, make) as much $ as possible!

If anyone needs to buy tickets before play, I will have them, but Sloan is such a cutie and loves golf, so we wanted to get her out to see a fun group of women who also love golf! “See you at the Member Guest!”
