Get Ready for the 2017 Womens Member/Guest Tournament
Our first big tournament of the year is fast approaching. You may have read on the JRCC Women’s Golf Blog that this tournament is moved to Friday. Why Friday you might ask? Last year we have a devil of a time with the weather. We had to cancel the proposed Saturday play due to major bad weather. Joan Verhoef and her Team quickly went into action and the outing was switched to Friday. It turned out to be a fabulous tournament, more fun and more relaxing than our Tuesday Member Guest. The reason was this: 1) our working women golfers could take of ½ on Friday to play golf, 2) When we finished we had a great cocktail party and dinner and no one left. We were all having such a great time and no one needed to be home early. Most Women stayed to continue into the evening.
I know a few of you missed it due to the quick change, but we hope you will join us this year!
Tournament fee per person of $80.00 - Details below.
- Check in begins at 11:30 A.M.
- Chipping and putting contest 11:30 – 12:45 P.M.
- Shot gun start at 1:00 P.M.
- Format: Modified Shamble
- Martinis on the lawn after finishing 18
- Dinner and drinks in private room
- Prizes, prizes and more prizes:
- Long Drive Member and Guest
- Straightest Drive Member and Guest
- Closest to the Hole on 15 Member and Guest
- Pro Assist on #2 and #10. $5.00 Donation for each hole
- Mulligans are 2 for $10. One for the Back 9 and one for the Front Nine
- 50/50 Raffle – proceeds go to the First Tee
- Beverage Cart, Sodas, Water, Included

All players receive one (1) playing card on each Par 3 (5 total) .
Land on the Green, get a 2nd card to add to your hand.,
The person with the best hand at the end of the tournament wins the cash pot!

Practice Rounds – anytime from May 12 forward. Cart fees apply, but waking is no charge to player.
